If you do not take care of parents, then pay salaries

The Assam government is bringing a new law. In which state government employees must take care of their dependent parent's care. Apart from this, it is also important to take care of physically challenged siblings. Employees who do not comply with this law will be paid salaries.
State Finance Minister Hemant Sarma said that Assam was the first state in the country to bring such a law. The minister had allowed some rules in the beginning of this week. A commission will be formed for this, in which some senior officials will be appointed. This rule will be enforced on October 2.
Last year, the employee's parents' responsibilities and security bill were passed in the state legislature. The purpose behind this bill is to care for the aging of the elderly and the weak brothers and sisters. Otherwise it will be deducted from the employee's salary.
If the employee does not comply with this rule, then 10 percent of his salary will be deducted. The deduction amount will be credited to his parents' account. If, in the absence of a careless brother and sister, 15% of the salary will be deducted
